Corticosteroids, glucocorticoids or simply steroids, are prescribed for a variety of conditions such as asthma , arthritis , lupus or eczema . These are not the same type of steroids used for building muscles. They are usually synthetic forms of cortisol, a natural hormone produced by your adrenal glands. Steroids reduce activity of the immune system and therefore help reduce inflammation. Depending on the condition they are treating, steroids may be given by injection, taken orally as a tablet, given as drops in the eyes or ears, applied as a cream, ointment or gel to the skin, or inhaled through a nasal spray or inhaler device. Steroids given locally - as an injection into a joint, topically as a cream or ointment, inhaled or as eye drops for example - produce fewer side effects than those that act systemically (working throughout the body). Systemic steroids include tablets taken orally or injected into a vein or muscle.
You’ve heard the reports in the news and by the many congressional experts regarding the side-effects of steroids and there is often a key component to good reporting and responsibility that is missing; we like to call it “Facts.” More often than not such reporting lacks credibility and for whatever reason it is one of the few topics that allow such continual behavior. One of the most common reported side-effects of steroids is death yet there has never been one recorded incident of death directly linked to anabolic steroid use ; is that a simple oversight, if it is it’s a pretty big one. Time and time again it has been shown with true and factual data that healthy adult men can supplement with anabolic steroids safely and effectively. It has been shown time and time again that healthy adult men who supplement with anabolic steroids, while some may fall prey to the side-effects of steroids most will not and those who do will normally only do so to a slight degree when responsible use is implored.
Given the nature of many of the androgenic and estrogenic side effects from Trenbolone, it is often difficult to minimize the risk of negative effects while still preserving the efficacy of the drug. There are certainly methods that bodybuilders use to minimize the likelihood of harmful reactions, and the most important would be only taking anabolic-androgenic steroids under the supervision of a doctor who is well-versed in steroid use.
I think that if most bodybuilders objectively consider the long-term risks versus the short-term gains, it really won’t seem worth it in the end.
